Belay Jacket

Exceptional quality and warmth in a lightweight jacket.
Great colour and makes a nice change from my black mountain jacket and green special 6 shirt.

Like most Buffalo System customers, I have been a fan since I was in my early 20’s. I am fortunate enough to have a full set of buffalo kit including the full sleeping bag system. Needless to say when the millstone belay jacket became available I had to replace my 1980’s original that had suffered from uv deterioration from too many adventures at high altitude mainly in the Alps. I now feel complete once more.

Been hearing a lot on social media about the quality of these jackets and being a local lad I thought I would call in to store. Although there wasn’t a shop as such, Tom was very helpful letting me try on the jacket and having a chat about the history of the company. Purchased one there and then and it’s great. Feels really well put together. Only one week into owning it though so will see how it goes over the next 30 years like some of the jackets they had in and still going strong. A brand that’s going places.
