great jacket, light, comfortable with really good pockets. I'm looking forward to testing it in some wintery weather

It’s difficult to explain the instant warmth this jacket provides. It’s almost magical. No other jacket; down, wool or other synthetics provide the instant coziness this does. Love it so far and can’t wait for colder weather to really try it at its limits!

I needed a new autumn/winter coat for my commute to work by rail. This absolutely fits the bill as it’s warm enough (not too warm) and very breathable. I don’t need it to be completely waterproof. Yes, it’s pricey but I won’t be replacing it for many years to come. Fits very well and looks great on.

A great jacket in a nice colour. Lighter, shorter & smarter than my special 6 shirt. Just need to get the gilet next.

Been using buffalo gear for over 30 years. This looks functional, well made, and like it will last as well as and be as reliable as my other buffalo gear

Great jacket, which gets warn to death nearly everyday. Looks and feels good where ever I am wearing it. Nice fit and cut to body shape, especially for climbing. Suggest you try for size before purchase! Five stars.

As usual a great jacket does everything I need from cycling walking, great in cold weather. This is my second belay. Unfortunately I ripped my other.

Like most Buffalo System customers, I have been a fan since I was in my early 20’s. I am fortunate enough to have a full set of buffalo kit including the full sleeping bag system. Needless to say when the millstone belay jacket became available I had to replace my 1980’s original that had suffered from uv deterioration from too many adventures at high altitude mainly in the Alps. I now feel complete once more.

Been hearing a lot on social media about the quality of these jackets and being a local lad I thought I would call in to store. Although there wasn’t a shop as such, Tom was very helpful letting me try on the jacket and having a chat about the history of the company. Purchased one there and then and it’s great. Feels really well put together. Only one week into owning it though so will see how it goes over the next 30 years like some of the jackets they had in and still going strong. A brand that’s going places.

It is not as if I am testing this jacket in extreme conditions but I wear it without a jumper underneath and cycle into work. As I live near the coast it can be cold and it does a better job than my winter jacket in keeping out the wind! So far so good

Called in to the Sheffield factory to try on the Belay jacket and to purchase some mittens. The service received was first rate and the team could not have been more helpful. The quality of the jacket and the mittens is excellent and really good value for money. Highly recommended.

I recently received my belay jacket but unfortunately it was too small. I am now waiting for my exchange.
