Fantastic bit of kit. Wanted a windproof UK made gillet as part of a layering system to adjust without taking layers off between sweaty uphill
Climbs and cool downhills without taking packs on/ off. One minor tweak I would have liked there to be the micro pile inside the pockets to help warm hands. Otherwise great piece of kit.

Had Special 6 smocks for other purposes for possibly 20-30 years and have survived some challenging situations. When I needed a light gillet for fell running/bouldering in the cooler months. Most alternatives looked fragile. Where else to go but Buffalo Systems. My only comment is the need to cinch the body closer at the waist. Adding velcro as the smocks would make this already good piece great.

simply a lightweight incredibly comfortable gilet. Great for chillier mornings and evenings.

Thinner than the warmer Reversible Gilet, and a longer fit. Very wind proof. Love the Millstone colour. Very pleased with another great item from Buffalo, still made in Sheffield.

My 6th piece of buffalo outer wear! Bit of an addiction I suppose but I wear all my coats and vests a lot! I been championing the brand for about 20 years, keep up the good work!

This gilet is ideal for when it gets warmer but not warm enough for just a t shirt.

Sizing is true to size and long enough cycling.

Decent quality zip, which works from both ends. Overall it looks smart and is practical.

Really like the millstone colour.

Really impressed with the Buffalo textile gilet so far. It’s been perfect for Scottish spring and summer mornings when there’s still a bit of a nip in the air and a breeze about. I mainly use it for walking the dogs early in the morning, but it’s also been excellent out on the hills hiking where conditions can change quickly.

I’ve also used it for early morning road and trail runs and it performs really well. Very breathable when moving, doesn’t feel clammy, and it copes surprisingly well if you get caught in a shower.

Fit is spot on for me in a medium — close enough without restricting movement and layers nicely over a hoodie or base layer.

I love it ,very comfortable.

A versatile gilet, packs small, dries quickly. I love the orange colour so also great on my bike commutes as well as hiking , the bright orange is perfect for this.
Still early days , but I know this bit of kit will be very well used and compliment layering, especially with my active lite shirt.

Good fit and nice quality. Ordered but wasn't in stock however made very quickly and recieved soon after. Would recommend and will be buying from Buffalo again.

As expected, I own lots of Buffalo garments, this will be lived in pretty much from spring through to end of autumn and even in mild winter days if jumping in the car to go somewhere. Now all I have to do is work out how to smuggle another in a different colourway into the house!

I have worn this for every activity since getting it; running, walking, casual wear.
The fit is brilliant and Iwould certainly recommend.

Love it, great for early morning/evening autumnal runs. Wicks sweat away so you don’t ’boil In the bag’! So good I’m looking at buying a long sleeve version for winter.
