TWO ICONS ONE SHIRT
The Cabourn Mountain Shirt. Two teams reimagining Buffalo's most iconic product. Torchlight Orange and Rannoch Blue, 250 of each.

Built for people who couldn't afford to get it wrong.
Hamish Hamilton made the first Mountain Shirt in Sheffield. It was built for mountain rescue teams and the military, on the Double P System: pile against the body, a Pertex shell against the weather.
It became the most iconic thing Buffalo makes. Function first, always.
So when Nigel Cabourn and Buffalo decided to work together, there was only one place to start.

Nigel never liked being called a fashion designer.
His pieces went to Everest, Antarctica, the Himalaya and the Andes. He cared about how things worked, and how they looked while they did it.

“Nigel was like a lightning bolt of hope and creativity. He showed me that outdoor wear didn't just have to be functional. It could be beautiful too.”
BEN FOGLEBen met Nigel in 2009. When the chance came to buy Buffalo, Nigel was his chief cheerleader. So the first Buffalo collaboration was always going to be with him.
Two great teams. One iconic shirt.
Buffalo's team and Nigel's team spent a year reimagining the Mountain Shirt together. Two great brands, working as one. Nigel's eye and Buffalo's know-how, a shirt seen through his eyes and built by both.
Nigel passed away a few months ago, but not before it was completed.
