Amazing lightweight jacket

I have a few pieces from Buffalo in my wardrobe but the Dev 12 slots right in as a great lightweight piece for when the weather is mild. I wore it over a t shirt for several hours on Lytham beach last week when the rain was coming and going and I never felt anything other than warm, dry and comfortable. The fit is spot on, the fabric is soft and the silver colour is ace. A brilliant piece of practical outerwear.

Usual Buffalo quality

Usual Buffalo quality, and it looks brilliant. I bought this for warmer days on the fells where we all know the weather can still turn chilly. Been very impressed so far. I would urge anyone who has not tried Buffalo to try it. After thirty years of layering and gaffing about putting on and taking off layers, I tried buffalo and it’s been a revelation. All my walking buddies comment I just wear the same top all day regardless of conditions. This top is not for winter, but would be brilliant for running, biking and a day on the fells

Excellent and Unique

I bought my first Buffalo back in early 90s and have been a loyal customer since. Under the new ownership they have revitalised the brand. This is an excellent example of it. Small batch of products, unusual colour and slightly different features. I had no "need" for this jack but bought it anyway. It is superb. Wear it loads. Particularly like the interior zip pocket which I don't believe exists on any precious pocket.
It is similar to my Fell Jacket BUT with a much better hood.

Just what I was after.

Like many, I’ve had a few Buffalo products over the years. Mountain shirts mostly! I was after a lightweight jacket to replace an old Montane thing that served me well. Two things have always annoyed me about Buffalo. The okish black, harsh blue and depressing greens and the lack of internal pockets. I know they are function over form and excellent products but let’s face it, we often use our jackets for other things other than climbing mountains etc. a bit of style and some practicalities like an inside pocket can make all the difference. So I jumped at the chance to get the D12 in silver. Sizing is true to the rest of the range and I can confirm that. It is lightweight but warm and comfortable in the way that Buffalo. Jackets are. The inside pocket is big. I am very happy with the purchase. I was also keen to put my money where my mouth is and pay the premium of buying something actually made in the UK. I must say though, the price for what it is, is a bit steep. Having said that, it’ll probably out last me so the cost will be spread over many years. Now Buffalo, any chance you could show the Parka some love for the winter? I’d love one but give it some decent colours and an inside pocket. Please!
