Excellent jacket. From doing playground duty in the wind and rain to walking on the hills, an excellent piece of kit. Warm, light and tough.
I have a 20 year old special 6, still going, but bought this jacket for warmer weather. Brilliant jacket, warmer than expected partly because i get a better seal around the neck and base, keeping any wind out. Have worn it on its own hiking in driving snow and skiing. Hood works really well, keeping your head snug and warm. I would have preferred the pockets to be lined for hand warming. But really well made jacket, lightweight, warm and windproof, and comfortable against the skin. Always with me in the outdoors.
