This range adheres to the principles of the DP System, but with these items the intended use is for milder climatic conditions or for high energy output usage in cold weather. Consequently, the lining incorporated in the garment is a lightweight micro-pile with very high wicking properties, but with far lesser insulating performance. Pertex fabrics used within this range depend upon usage. Trousers utilise Pertex 6 because they can be subjected to heavy abrasion, whilst other lightweight garments use a lighter weight of Pertex which performs to the requirements demanded by the conditions in which they are intended to be used. Even though of a lighter weight they are extremely resilient to wear and tear, and all perform to the highest specification.
